EDGE

The English word edge ultimately derives from a word meaning "sharp", related to Gk akis.

The English boundary derives from the ML bodina, "boundary marker" which may be related to Latin bonnarium meaning a "fixed piece of land".

The English frontier and French frontiere derive from the French front meaning "forehead, brow".
